George is the best Solutionist at YAPOS — a company contracted to handle customer escalations. After years of excelling with minimal reward, a bitter George is assigned a shadow named Evan. Skeptical of Evan at first, George starts to enjoy having a partner again for the first time since Lexington — an escalation that left behind loose ends. An unexpected suspension derails George's progress and makes him question who he can trust.

Chapter Five
George rolled out of his bed and walked to the bathroom. Looking in the mirror pissed him off, so he walked out to his living room. The sight of his reflection made him uncomfortable, so he didn't keep mirrors on the walls. He sat down on his couch and put his legs up on the coffee table. Sunlight beamed in through a window, allowing him to see his reflection on the TV. He couldn't escape it.
